My Pearce family was from Poole and the earliest I found was James whose son was Andrew who was agent for merchants in Newfoundland.

Hi, i'm glad i found your site.
I am in the belief that cockle Kate from poole is my great grandmother.
If i am correct, her daughter was Kathleen edwards, (got married to john lyle approx 1940s).

Kathleen's son is my father, barry Lyle, still living.
